Hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July. We have managed to escape the desert heat to spend some time on the beach in southern California. Heading to the beach with little ones does take some planning to make it pleasant for you and the babes.
A large beach bag helped out tremendously to load all of the usual diaper bag items, hats for all, towels and snacks.
My biggest worry taking the babies to the beach was not getting too much sun. We found sunscreen made by babyganics, it worked great. The lotion went on gentle and was long lasting.
A friend had lent me a pop up tent and I don't know what we would have done without it. The tent was great for the shade, it travelled well and the twins both fit in it to take a nap on the beach.
