Last weekend we attended a celebration for all NICU babies at the Scottsdale Railroad Park. It was such a great celebration held by Little Legends where there was food, activities, photo booths and a petting zoo. It was such a great day to remind us how far we have come this year and how happy we are to have two healthy babies.
We were able to visit with all of the nurses that took care of our little guy for the five days he was in the NICU. Aiden only weighed 3 pounds 10 ounces and he wasn't able to keep up his body temperature. There was a silly nick name given at the time "Wimpy White Boy" which Aiden proved them wrong and now weighs a hefty 22 pounds. The nurses were so comforting and helpful, we felt better knowing he was under such wonderful care. The team was so thoughtful they even made a name banner for our little guy and a flower bow for Harper.
