Tie Dye For The 4Th Of July

Girls Paint Night Out

Life has been very busy for myself and many of my girl friends- with family, work, and kids we don't get the chance to meet up as often as we use to.  A few of us have decided to dedicate at least one night a month where we LIVE LIFE.  This means we have to plan a night with an event in mind which can be anything that involves us doing an activity together from cooking classes, bowling, movies or even educating each other on wine.
Our first night out we planned to do a paint night out which unfortunately was cancelled for not having enough members.
Paint Nite is a company that hosts a local artist to instruct a group to follow step by step instructions in creating a masterpiece from a blank canvas. These events are to gather people to socialize, relax and be creative.
Our paint night may have been cancelled  but my friend quickly turned it into an artistic night for us. We were told to show up with a plain white t-shirt and expect to get it dirty.  In inspiration of fourth of July we made a red, white and blue tie die t-shirt.
This actually was my first time making a tie dye t-shirt, I had a blast.  The most exciting part of the night was the anticipation of what everyone's t's would look like once they dried.
Here is a link to host your own DIY Tie- Dye Party.
